Yn sydyn iawn, wedi dwy flynedd o waith academaidd cyflogedig, roeddwn yn ol ar y stryd yn bysgio - tipyn o sioc i'r sustem. Ond roedd fy nghytundebau byr yn Aberystwyth wedi dirwyn i ben, a bu'n rhaid sefydlogi unwaith eto fel telynor, tra'n chwilio am swydd newydd. Roedd yn chwech mis caled iawn, o bysgio a geisio am swyddi nes i mi gael fy mhenodi fel gohebydd Cynulliad Cylchgrawn Golwg yn Rhagfyr 2005.

After two years of paid academic employment, I was back on the streets in July 2005, which was a bit of a shock to the system. But my short-term academic contracts in Aberystwyth had come to an end, and I had to re-group as a harpist, whilst also looking for new jobs. It was a tough six months of busking and making job applications, until I was appointed as National Assembly corrspondent for Golwg magazine in December 2005.
