A scene that will live in my memory. A quintessential English cricket match in the rolling Herefordshire countryside. So reminiscent of early childhood in Leicestershire. Lovely to know that, in the age of Ipads and Pokemon GO! That this quaint world really does still exist.
To complete the scene, as I was lining up my camera shots, a batsman hit a beautiful drive for 4 runs - "the sound of leather on willow" and all that.

Tipyn o sioc... Robin Huw Bowen (pellaf ar y chwith) wedi penderfynu dewis dwy alaw o'm CD newydd ("Afon Gwy"; "Tyndyrn") fel sail i'w gweithdy telyn yn y 'Steddfod. Un o uchafbwyntiau fy ngyrfa heb os - yn enwedig nad oedd yr alawon yn bodoli amser hon y llynedd. Diolch, Robin, am dy gefnogaeth ar hyd y blynyddoedd.
A bit of a shock... Robin Huw Bowen, Wales' international ambassador of the triple harp (far left) chose two of my compositions off the new CD ("River Wye" and "Tintern") as the basis for his harp workshop at the Eisteddfod at Abergavenny.
Without question one of the highlights of my career, especially considering that those tunes did not exist this time last year! Thanks, Robin, for your support down the years.
