Tortie the cat has flown across the Atlantic! After discussions with the guy who'd taken the travelbug, we arranged that Tortie should be placed in a geocache on the Appalachian Trail. This is a part of the world which has long fascinated me. It is a big area for geocaching and even has a geocoin designed in its honour!Tortie the Cat has now travelled over 3,000 miles! He is now resident in "Lone Star Legacy", a cache in northern Virginia. For the time being, Tortie's mission is to stay on the Appalachian Trail, which runs from Maine in the north, to Georgia in the deep south.
